Our U10 Sprint Racing program for ages 8-9 (as of January 1st, 2024) is a full summer program designed around Canoe Kayak Canada’s FUNdamentals and Foundations stage of the Long Term Athlete Development plan. Athletes will work with our friendly, experienced, and NCCP certified coaches to learn about water safety, introductory sprint canoe and kayak technique, and physical literacy through games and practices on AND off the water.
PROGRAM DATES: July 2nd-August 16th, 2024
COST: $1,250 (+ $100 Volunteer Deposit)
PROGRAM SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY from 9:00AM - 3:30PM (pre/post care is available from 8:00am - 5:00pm for an additional $40/week, or $240 for the full summer)
AGES: 8-9 years old (as of Jan. 1st, 2024)
SPRINT REGISTRATION INCLUDES: Membership, insurance fees, affiliation fees (divisional, provincial, and national), program and coaching fees. Registration does NOT include regatta entry or travel fees.
PLEASE NOTE - Your registration is only complete once you submit payment in full and complete our waiver & code of conduct, and concussion code of conduct (must be completed for each registered participant). Payment can be made online upon registration (credit card payments are subject to A 3% transaction fee) or via email transfer to finance@cpcanoeclub.com).
