Our U14 Sprint Racing program for ages 12-13 (as of January 1st, 2024) is a spring, summer, and fall program designed around Canoe Kayak Canada’s Training to Train stage of the Long Term Athlete Development plan. Athletes will work with our friendly, experienced, and certified coaches to learn about intermediate to advanced sprint canoe and kayak technique, physical fitness, race preparations and strategic development. Athletes in this program will begin learning about goal-setting, nutrition habits, and self-care strategies.
PROGRAM DATES: April 29th-November 2nd, 2024
COST: $1,625
PROGRAM SCHEDULE - FALL & SPRING SESSIONS: will include 4-5 training sessions per week; JULY & AUGUST SESSIONS: will include full day programming from 9:00AM - 3:30PM
AGES: 12-13 years old (as of Jan. 1st, 2024)
SPRINT REGISTRATION INCLUDES: Membership, insurance fees, affiliation fees (divisional, provincial, and national), program and coaching fees. Registration does NOT include regatta entry or travel fees.
PLEASE NOTE - Your registration is only complete once you submit payment in full and complete our waiver & code of conduct, and concussion code of conduct (must be completed for each registered participant). Payment can be made online upon registration (credit card payments are subject to A 3% transaction fee) or via email transfer to finance@cpcanoeclub.com).
