U16+ SPRINT HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAMMING

Designed around the Training to Train and Learning to Compete stages of CKC's Long Term Athlete Development plan, participants age 14 and up (as of January 1st of competition year) will be trained in singles and crew boats focusing on aerobic endurance, specific speed and strength development, nutrition, and goal setting. The program also incorporates water safety and pure enjoyment of sport and physical fitness. Participants will be given the opportunity to compete at divisional and provincial regattas. The full event schedule can be found in our parent information section. Over the course of six months, athletes will train from 6-12 sessions per week as prescribed by the CPCC Head Coach. 

Carleton Place's High Performance programs reinforce important personal skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, time management, building self-confidence, and they teach the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.  All of Carleton Place's programs are led by friendly, dependable, knowledgeable and certified staff.

You must be in good financial standing with the club, and it's affiliates with no pre-existing membership, camp or race fees overdue at registration.
