Our U14 Sprint Racing program for ages 12-13 (as of January 1st, 2022) is a summer program designed around Canoe Kayak Canada’s Training to Train stage of the Long Term Athlete Development plan. Athletes will work with our friendly, experienced, and certified coaches to learn about intermediate to advanced sprint canoe and kayak technique, physical fitness, and race preparation and strategy development. Athletes in this program will begin learning about goal-setting, nutrition habits, and self-care strategies.
All of our staff are certified by the National Coach Certification Program and are passionate about teaching our athletes to be active in a fun and knowledgeable environment. We also focus on building a strong base for athlete development with emphasis on technical understanding and an appreciation for the sport and physical exercise.
