Our U10 Sprint Racing program for ages 8-9 (as of January 1st, 2021) is an 8 week summer program designed around Canoe Kayak Canada’s FUNdamentals and Foundations stage of the Long Term Athlete Development plan. Athletes will work with our friendly, experienced, and NCCP certified coaches to learn about water safety, introductory sprint canoe and kayak technique, and physical literacy through games and practices on the water.
All of our staff are certified by the National Coach Certification Program and are passionate about teaching our young members about the importance of water safety in a fun and knowledgeable environment. We also focus on building a strong base for athlete development with regards to technical understanding and an appreciation for the sport.
