General Membership is an initiative at the Carleton Place Canoe Club that began in 2019. The intent is to get more of our community out on the water to experience the waterway we are so lucky to have running through the heart of our town. Whether you are an ex-paddler looking to get back out on the water, or a beginner recreational user wanting to go at your own pace, this basic membership provides flexibility in the use of our club equipment and facilities.
General members will be able to access the club facilities and skill-appropriate club equipment during designated member hours (outlined below). It is important to note that there will be no programming, coaching, or instruction during these hours. Members will simply be able to sign out equipment approved by our dock supervisor, and use the equipment within the designated areas.

PROGRAM DATES: June 7th-August 27th, 2023
PROGRAM HOURS: WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY: 5:00PM- 8:00PM; SATURDAY: 11:00AM - 2:00PM; and SUNDAY: 9:00AM - 12:00PM
AGES: Participants must be U14+ as of January 1st, 2023
SPECIAL PROGRAM NOTES: The CPCC will be closed on holidays. There is an additional $100 fee if member is racing
PLEASE NOTE - Your registration is only complete once you submit payment in full (prior to your program start date) - payments can be made online upon registration or via email transfer to finance@cpcanoeclub.com and submit a signed waiver & code of conduct, and concussion code of conduct (for each registered participant).
