Designed in 2023 with the goal to develop a team to compete at the Carleton Place Dragonboat Festival on September 9th, 2023. This program is open to both experienced and non-experienced paddlers/dragonboaters. The CPCC is providing an opportunity to Carleton Place and surrounding community members to learn the skills and technique required to paddle Dragonboat, all while socializing, having fun and preparing to compete. Participants will have practice sessions once per week from 6PM-7PM on Wednesday evenings.
